Westbourne College provides training and assessment in Accredited Australian Qualifications for front line managers and for people working in or aiming to work in the security, leadership or management fields.

This is achieved through our on-line Learning Management System which provides the ultimate in flexibility for the Westbourne Student Community.

Predominantly we do this because we feel that everyone should have access to Accredited Australian Qualifications that offer real value to the student. Regardless of sex, age, or race everyone should have a pathway to better themselves and their families by gaining accredited qualifications with real world application.

It’s challenging and the courses are rigorous. If it was easy they would be of no value, but we are here to ensure that every person who wants to achieve a successful career will get the support they need.

Our commitment to our student community does not end when you finish your course. Our commitment is to give lifelong learning pathways and engagement within our Westbourne Student Community. Students have access to continuous security, leadership and management briefings, discussion forums and help with employment opportunities.

We provide training content in line with the values of Professionalism, Encouragement, Respect, Fairness, Trust, Consistency, Honesty and Cooperation.

Our vision is to be the provider of choice for leadership, management and security related on-line training.

Our trainers hold many years’ experience from both Law Enforcement and the Military. They have real world exposure to areas such as diplomatic protection, civil disorder, CBRN events, covert policing, leadership development and ethics.

The breadth and depth of the trainers’ experience is unique in that this real world experience is internationally and domestically founded in the law enforcement and Military arena. This provides a great insight into real life leadership practices for the student.

On-line courses can be completed at your own pace and comprise of similar assessment methods to traditional learning. Assessments are constructed of assignment papers, participation in the on-line forums and question and answer sessions.
